Join us Saturday, Nov. 4 for the first ever camp out in Crites Park!
Tent campers will be on the stage field and RV campers will be on the gazebo field. There are no water or electric hook-ups available. This is primitive camping. The park has the bathrooms, but no showers.
Campers can begin pulling in at 3pm on Saturday and should be packed up and leaving by 11am on Sunday, Nov. 5.
Fires at each campsite will NOT be allowed, but the Festus Fire Dept will be manning a large bonfire for everyone. The Festus Library Director will be be telling family friendly ghost stories and the Park Dept will have yard sized games available for use.
Plan on bringing everything you need to make a camping experience fun. The kids will probably want their bikes and the adults might want to bring their cornhole games.
There is no fee for this event, but registration is requested. Please email Barb to let her know how many will be in your group, size of your tent or RV.
This event is sponsored by Festus Tourism.
Don't forget your marshmallows!
