Ball Field Improvements

The softball fields on the south side of Sunshine Drive now have 300-foot fences with the option of 200-foot temporary fences that can be installed along with portable mounds to meet tournament play requirements.

Playground Equipment

Replaced sand with wood chips at all playground equipment and added covers to the ball field complex and north-side playground areas.

New Wetland Trail that starts under the bridge by the Joachim Creek.

Jokerst Park

Playground Equipment

Six Pickleball Courts with two permanent nets installed with four more ready for installation once the surface has been improved, depending on grant funding.

Sunset Park

Softball Fields

A major facelift that included new fences, lights, dugouts, sidewalk, and electrical service entrance equipment are under construction at the central city park. The three ball fields will meet amateur tournament requirements for field size and lighting, and will give the ages old park a new look and feel.

In addition, a new concession stand/bathroom building will be installed in fall of 2016.
