Building Permit Fee Formula
Building Permit Fees are determined by the following formula: Building type construction x square footage x (*modification factor) = total.
*The modification factors are:
- Basement Finish - .0022
- New Construction - .003
- Remodel - .0015
The building type is based on the IBC designation for the type of construction materials.
